Narrative:

Scheduled flight from bwi to cvg. We were on radar vectors to runway 18L at cvg. Level 7000 ft at 170 KTS. Approach gave us a heading change of 10 degrees right (010 degrees). At same time we got 'traffic' on TCASII at 10'clock position, 500 ft above us, descending, moving right to left. Approach said further right to 050 degrees as we got an RA to descend at about 1400 FPM. We followed and advised ATC we were leaving 7000 ft. After 'clear of conflict' we were at 6400 ft, heading around 050 degrees. ATC directed 'go to 6000 ft and back left to 270 degrees'. Rest of flight uneventful. Subsequent ATC conversation indicated other aircraft was a falcon. We never saw our RA traffic visually as it was quite hazy.

Title: A B757 FLT CREW EXPERIENCES A TCASII RA WHILE DSNDING.

Narrative: SCHEDULED FLT FROM BWI TO CVG. WE WERE ON RADAR VECTORS TO RWY 18L AT CVG. LEVEL 7000 FT AT 170 KTS. APCH GAVE US A HDG CHANGE OF 10 DEGS R (010 DEGS). AT SAME TIME WE GOT 'TFC' ON TCASII AT 10'CLOCK POS, 500 FT ABOVE US, DSNDING, MOVING R TO L. APCH SAID FURTHER R TO 050 DEGS AS WE GOT AN RA TO DSND AT ABOUT 1400 FPM. WE FOLLOWED AND ADVISED ATC WE WERE LEAVING 7000 FT. AFTER 'CLR OF CONFLICT' WE WERE AT 6400 FT, HDG AROUND 050 DEGS. ATC DIRECTED 'GO TO 6000 FT AND BACK L TO 270 DEGS'. REST OF FLT UNEVENTFUL. SUBSEQUENT ATC CONVERSATION INDICATED OTHER ACFT WAS A FALCON. WE NEVER SAW OUR RA TFC VISUALLY AS IT WAS QUITE HAZY.
