Narrative:
I was told by first shift production supervisor and lead inspector/mechanic #3 slat was suspect but not verify that a crack existed in area by non destructive testing high frequency eddy current. I went to area that was pointed out to me and could not find a crack using non destructive testing method high frequency eddy current. Later, the card was brought to me and the area in #3 slat was not the same as the one I was shown by lead mechanic and supervisor. I refused to stamp the card off. This event went nuclear, between inspection forman, the initial inspector, and production forman. I understand the FAA is investigating also.
