Narrative:
I was hanging coats and went to assist #1 flight attendant with pre departure beverages. At the entry door was an older female passenger who claimed she wasn't feeling well. On the jet bridge were a family of 4 (adult male and female and 2 children) the male was shouting at the agent and female 'chimed in' at various times. Two other flight attendants were present. When the older female said she didn't feel well, I grabbed the boarding passes from the male and took only her back to her seat. After discussion with the captain, female and two children were allowed to board, the male was denied.
