Narrative:
On sep/tue/01, I installed several panels in the east&east compartment all on one sign-off. I signed them off, had qa verify and stamp them off. On the morning of sep/fri/01, my crew chief asked me if I knew where this certain panel (L-160) 505, I said yes and told him. The next thing I know, I'm called to a maintenance investigation meeting. The panel was found in an avionics cabinet. The aircraft did not leave unit the morning of sep/thu/01. The aircraft was rerouted back to ZZZ to install the panel. When it returned, there were 3 other panels missing. No one knows where they are.
