Narrative:
On flight from dfw to iad ATC gave instructions to cross intersection jaxsn at FL250. Aircraft was at FL330. At 6 mi from jaxsn ATC asked if crew could still make the restr. The captain, me, tried to make the restr, but ATC instructed the crew to turn left 20 degrees. No further problems noted from ATC.

Title: B727 FLC BECAME DISTRACTED AND ZDC HAS TO ASK ABOUT COMPLIANCE WITH THEIR XING RESTR.
Narrative: ON FLT FROM DFW TO IAD ATC GAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO CROSS INTXN JAXSN AT FL250. ACFT WAS AT FL330. AT 6 MI FROM JAXSN ATC ASKED IF CREW COULD STILL MAKE THE RESTR. THE CAPT, ME, TRIED TO MAKE THE RESTR, BUT ATC INSTRUCTED THE CREW TO TURN L 20 DEGS. NO FURTHER PROBS NOTED FROM ATC.
