Narrative:
On a VFR flight from ZZZ to XXX while descending to remain clear of YYY class B airspace in the vicinity of ZZZ, us, customs informs abc center that I penetrated the temporary restricted airspace around. As briefed by ZZZ FSS, I plotted the restricted area on my VFR terminal area chart. I remained clear of that plotted area using pilotage and GPS. During a telephone debriefing with center, the controller indicated the restricted area extended a few miles further west of where I had plotted it. After returning home that evening, with chart in hand, I called ZZZ FSS and requested a complete review of the NOTAM. This briefing was similar to the one received earlier, however additional information was provided that moved the affected area approximately 7 NM west. This seems to be another example of an unintentional communication breakdown. I feel I did my part, but like a computer, I'm only as good as the information I'm given. If one is unable to read a NOTAM personally, impress on the briefer that he or she read you the NOTAM completely, every detail!

Title: AN SMA PLT VIOLATED THE RESTRICTED AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ON A VFR FLT FROM ZZZ TO XXX WHILE DSNDING TO REMAIN CLR OF YYY CLASS B AIRSPACE IN THE VICINITY OF ZZZ, US, CUSTOMS INFORMS ABC CTR THAT I PENETRATED THE TEMPORARY RESTRICTED AIRSPACE AROUND. AS BRIEFED BY ZZZ FSS, I PLOTTED THE RESTRICTED AREA ON MY VFR TERMINAL AREA CHART. I REMAINED CLR OF THAT PLOTTED AREA USING PILOTAGE AND GPS. DURING A TELEPHONE DEBRIEFING WITH CTR, THE CTLR INDICATED THE RESTRICTED AREA EXTENDED A FEW MILES FURTHER W OF WHERE I HAD PLOTTED IT. AFTER RETURNING HOME THAT EVENING, WITH CHART IN HAND, I CALLED ZZZ FSS AND REQUESTED A COMPLETE REVIEW OF THE NOTAM. THIS BRIEFING WAS SIMILAR TO THE ONE RECEIVED EARLIER, HOWEVER ADDITIONAL INFO WAS PROVIDED THAT MOVED THE AFFECTED AREA APPROX 7 NM W. THIS SEEMS TO BE ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF AN UNINTENTIONAL COM BREAKDOWN. I FEEL I DID MY PART, BUT LIKE A COMPUTER, I'M ONLY AS GOOD AS THE INFO I'M GIVEN. IF ONE IS UNABLE TO READ A NOTAM PERSONALLY, IMPRESS ON THE BRIEFER THAT HE OR SHE READ YOU THE NOTAM COMPLETELY, EVERY DETAIL!
