Narrative:
On final approach to dtw runway 22L at approximately 1200 ft AGL at final approach speed and landing confign, TCASII displayed target 500 ft below and less than 1/2 mi. TCASII issued RA commanding +3000 FPM climb. TCASII RA complied with. Other aircraft type unknown and apparently not in contact with dtw tower.
