Narrative:
Passenger misconduct. A drunken passenger created a disturbance in the cabin when the flight attendants called the cockpit for assistance. The captain elected to proceed to the cabin despite my questioning his action to leave the cockpit. He felt the situation was not a threat to the safety of the airplane but was a threat no the passenger. Although I disagreed with his departure from the cockpit, the remainder of the flight was uneventful and the passenger was arrested upon landing. Supplemental information from acn 529968: I was more than 2 hours from any landing when this incident began. At approximately XA00Z, flight attendant advised passenger was drunk and acting out of control. I carefully considered circumstances. No security threat was evident. Out of concern for safety of crew and passenger, I exercised my emergency authority/authorized and proceeded to cabin. I told the passenger that he had to remain in his seat for the remainder of the flight or I would land and have him removed. Approximately 20 mins later, I was advised passenger was on the floor of galley creating a disturbance and acting in a deranged manor. I again returned to cabin with flex cuffs. Passenger was back in seat. I admonished him very strongly and advised flight attendants to flex cuff him if necessary. I was in contact with dispatch and asked for auths to meet aircraft. Remainder of flight was uneventful. Passenger arrested on arrival at lhr. Police and passenger misconduct forms filed.

Narrative: PAX MISCONDUCT. A DRUNKEN PAX CREATED A DISTURBANCE IN THE CABIN WHEN THE FLT ATTENDANTS CALLED THE COCKPIT FOR ASSISTANCE. THE CAPT ELECTED TO PROCEED TO THE CABIN DESPITE MY QUESTIONING HIS ACTION TO LEAVE THE COCKPIT. HE FELT THE SIT WAS NOT A THREAT TO THE SAFETY OF THE AIRPLANE BUT WAS A THREAT NO THE PAX. ALTHOUGH I DISAGREED WITH HIS DEP FROM THE COCKPIT, THE REMAINDER OF THE FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL AND THE PAX WAS ARRESTED UPON LNDG. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 529968: I WAS MORE THAN 2 HRS FROM ANY LNDG WHEN THIS INCIDENT BEGAN. AT APPROX XA00Z, FLT ATTENDANT ADVISED PAX WAS DRUNK AND ACTING OUT OF CTL. I TOLD THE PAX THAT HE HAD TO REMAIN IN HIS SEAT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLT OR I WOULD LAND AND HAVE HIM REMOVED. APPROX 20 MINS LATER, I WAS ADVISED PAX WAS ON THE FLOOR OF GALLEY CREATING A DISTURBANCE AND ACTING IN A DERANGED MANOR. I AGAIN RETURNED TO CABIN WITH FLEX CUFFS. PAX WAS BACK IN SEAT. I ADMONISHED HIM VERY STRONGLY AND ADVISED FLT ATTENDANTS TO FLEX CUFF HIM IF NECESSARY. I WAS IN CONTACT WITH DISPATCH AND ASKED FOR AUTHS TO MEET ACFT. REMAINDER OF FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL. PAX ARRESTED ON ARR AT LHR. POLICE AND PAX MISCONDUCT FORMS FILED.
