Narrative:
After taxiing out lga, ground told us that we were number 4 in sequence for takeoff and to hold short of taxiway bravo. After three planes took off we taxied up to but held short of runway 31 and the tower controller proceeded to yell at us. We apparently didn't continue to hold short of taxiway bravo even though a dash 8 seemed to be waiting for us on bravo. We did not cross any active.

Narrative: AFTER TAXIING OUT LGA, GND TOLD US THAT WE WERE NUMBER 4 IN SEQUENCE FOR TKOF AND TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY BRAVO. AFTER THREE PLANES TOOK OFF WE TAXIED UP TO BUT HELD SHORT OF RWY 31 AND THE TWR CTLR PROCEEDED TO YELL AT US.
