Narrative:
Taxiing from north end of taxiway Z to depart runway 1L. Told to hold short of taxiway a. I thought taxiway a was at end of taxiway, so I was trying to help first officer find fixes on clearance and ran past taxiway a which was midway down taxiway Z. Should have delayed engine start to find fixes instead of trying to hurry taxi because of fuel burn of turbojet aircraft.
