Narrative:
While taxiing eastbound on taxiway H, transitioning to taxiway a, the left brake failed. I was unable to negotiate left dogleg onto taxiway a and departed taxiway onto dirt between taxiway lights. Nosewheel dropped into small ditch and propeller struck dirt. Mixture was idle-cutoff with propeller still turning. Approximately aircraft speed 1-2 mph.
