Narrative:

We were cleared for takeoff behind a B757 only 45 seconds after his liftoff. We refused to take off until more time elapsed. Tower canceled takeoff clearance and cleared a B737 to go, then cleared us again and we took off. We hit a bump at 200 ft, but no roll. I feel minimum of 2 mins from liftoff of B757, B767, B747, etc, should be mandated. B757's are notorious for wake turbulence. If we had departed when cleared, we may have been out of control at 100 ft.
