Narrative:
Aircraft was in 'B' and 'C' check #1 on dec/thu/01 and company task card (boeing card # xya) was deferred due to lack of test equipment. We had a temporary upgrade (bump-up) routine overnight check (ron) maintenance analyst who failed to enter a specification limit on the non routine card, that was generated at the 'B' and 'C' check. Due to lack of equipment. Because no time limit for required inspection was assigned the nrc dropped off of our reports and was not idented again until the aircraft was due. The next C-2 inspection was being planned on mar/tue/02 by the 'B' and 'C' check planner in ZZZ. Upon reviewing the nrc we discovered the inspection had not been accomplished and stopped the aircraft in ZZZ at XA54 and completed the task card.
