Narrative:
Aircraft were deviating around storm which put them in each others path. Turns were refused because of WX, vertical separation was used as soon as possible but RA put aircraft in conflict. Supplemental information from acn 542614: aircraft deviating into my sector in conflict with another aircraft in my sector at same altitude. Deviating aircraft unable to turn. I was unable to change altitude or aircraft under my control because of opposite direction traffic. I vectored aircraft under my control and had to descend it so it would not hit deviating aircraft.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AIRBORNE POTENTIAL CONFLICT CREATED WHEN A B757 AND A LEARJET 25 WERE DEVIATING AROUND THE SAME TSTM AND REFUSED TURNS BY ARTCC CTLR FOR SEPARATION AND TCASII RA PUT ACFT IN CONFLICT. 1 ACFT DEVIATED INTO ANOTHER CTLR'S AIRSPACE CAUSING THAT CTLR TO MOVE HIS ACFT BY TURNING AND DSNDING IT.
Narrative: ACFT WERE DEVIATING AROUND STORM WHICH PUT THEM IN EACH OTHERS PATH. TURNS WERE REFUSED BECAUSE OF WX, VERT SEPARATION WAS USED ASAP BUT RA PUT ACFT IN CONFLICT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 542614: ACFT DEVIATING INTO MY SECTOR IN CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER ACFT IN MY SECTOR AT SAME ALT. DEVIATING ACFT UNABLE TO TURN. I WAS UNABLE TO CHANGE ALT OR ACFT UNDER MY CTL BECAUSE OF OPPOSITE DIRECTION TFC. I VECTORED ACFT UNDER MY CTL AND HAD TO DSND IT SO IT WOULD NOT HIT DEVIATING ACFT.
