Narrative:
Cleared to descend via the korry 1 arrival to lga. Descent proceeded smoothly until mandatory 11000 ft at brand intersection. Was concentrating on making korry at 10000 ft and missed the mandatory 11000 ft at brand intersection 5 mi earlier. Caught the mandatory restr. Increased descent rate and was about 400 ft high passing brand (11400 ft). No conversation from center and a normal handoff to new york approach occurred at 10000 ft. The descent should have been planned more thoroughly and I should have been using my first officer more efficiently to help stay ahead of the many restrs on this arrival.

Title: DURING DSCNT ON STAR, PLT MISSED MANDATORY ALT XING RESTR.
Narrative: CLRED TO DSND VIA THE KORRY 1 ARR TO LGA. DSCNT PROCEEDED SMOOTHLY UNTIL MANDATORY 11000 FT AT BRAND INTXN.
