Narrative:
We landed on runway 35R in dfw with tower instructions to taxi via taxiway Q, taxiway right and taxiway Z with hold shorts at runways 35C and 35L. The crossing of runway 35L came from tower along with 4 other clrncs including 1 aircraft behind us. As we crossed runway 35L, a saab was and had been sitting stationary at intersection of taxiway Y and left short of taxiway Z. The distance required to clear 2 aircraft from runway 35L carried us into the intersection of taxiway Z and taxiway left. Upon ground contact we got an earful about how we taxied without clearance and cut off the saab. Although I try, it is very hard to clear an active, 2 aircraft in this case, and stay clear of intersection Z/left. This alleged transgression occurred at XA35 at night -- hardly a big bank time at dfw. If the ground controller had made a timely radio call, it would have been easier to negotiate.

Title: A B737 CREW, TAXIING TO THE GATE AT DFW, BLOCKED A TXWY INTXN, MUCH TO THE DISMAY OF THE CTLR.
Narrative: WE LANDED ON RWY 35R IN DFW WITH TWR INSTRUCTIONS TO TAXI VIA TXWY Q, TXWY R AND TXWY Z WITH HOLD SHORTS AT RWYS 35C AND 35L. THE XING OF RWY 35L CAME FROM TWR ALONG WITH 4 OTHER CLRNCS INCLUDING 1 ACFT BEHIND US. AS WE CROSSED RWY 35L, A SAAB WAS AND HAD BEEN SITTING STATIONARY AT INTXN OF TXWY Y AND L SHORT OF TXWY Z. THE DISTANCE REQUIRED TO CLR 2 ACFT FROM RWY 35L CARRIED US INTO THE INTXN OF TXWY Z AND TXWY L. UPON GND CONTACT WE GOT AN EARFUL ABOUT HOW WE TAXIED WITHOUT CLRNC AND CUT OFF THE SAAB. ALTHOUGH I TRY, IT IS VERY HARD TO CLR AN ACTIVE, 2 ACFT IN THIS CASE, AND STAY CLR OF INTXN Z/L. THIS ALLEGED TRANSGRESSION OCCURRED AT XA35 AT NIGHT -- HARDLY A BIG BANK TIME AT DFW. IF THE GND CTLR HAD MADE A TIMELY RADIO CALL, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO NEGOTIATE.
