Narrative:
During aerobatic practice in waivered airspace, ran out of gas and landed safely. Misread the gas gauge in a recently purchased pitts S1. Corrective action in the future is to use a measuring stick before every aerobatic flight to ensure that there is sufficient gas. Do not rely on the gauge.
