Narrative:

Departed the gate. Taxi clearance was 'taxi to runway 12L, hold short of runway 12R at taxiway C.' first officer began taxi and before takeoff checklists. Taxied onto taxiway H, first officer noticed hold line (called out) and momentum carried aircraft over hold line, but short of white runway edge line. Aircraft on final went around. Received further taxi instructions from ground. Called stl tower upon arrival at jfk and talked to tower supervisor. Supplemental information from acn 546336: received clearance to runway 12L via taxiway C and hold short runway 12R at taxiway C. I began my taxi and before takeoff checklist, then noticed the aircraft begin to cross the hold short line for runway 12R at taxiway H and immediately told the captain to stop the aircraft. Part of the aircraft passed the hold short line but stopped short of the runway white line edge. An aircraft on final went around. We then were given further instructions to cross runway 12R from ground. Upon arrival at jfk, we spoke with the tower supervisor.

TAXIED ONTO TXWY H, FO NOTICED HOLD LINE (CALLED OUT) AND MOMENTUM CARRIED ACFT OVER HOLD LINE, BUT SHORT OF WHITE RWY EDGE LINE. ACFT ON FINAL WENT AROUND. RECEIVED FURTHER TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM GND. CALLED STL TWR UPON ARR AT JFK AND TALKED TO TWR SUPVR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 546336: RECEIVED CLRNC TO RWY 12L VIA TXWY C AND HOLD SHORT RWY 12R AT TXWY C.
