Narrative:
Departing ZZZ on climb out, had a gear malfunction. Told tower we had a gear problem and would like to return to field. Ran appropriate checklists, cycled gear, where it malfunctioned, declared an emergency, ran appropriate checklists -- gear still malfunctioning. Called company, spoke with ZZZ maintenance. Tried various suggestions from them -- nothing worked. Talked to chief pilot on company radio where we were ordered to proceed to ZZZ1. Burned excess fuel as requested by company. Confirmed we were cleared to land. Performed appropriate checklists. Proceeded to land, at which time nose gear collapsed. No injuries.
