Narrative:
On visual to runway 3R dtw, we noted an aircraft, we thought was a jumbo, overshoot his assigned runway 4L and we received a TCASII advisory. We were completing a turn to final as he was. It appeared he probably lined up on runway 4R (closed) inadvertently, or overshot runway 4L. He corrected after we asked the tower if they had the aircraft under control. Uneventful landing followed.
