Narrative:
With ATC clearance, onl.J94.ord, proceeded to dbq 051 degree radial to bribe to get on the jlv arrival. ATC asked 'are you going to jlv?' we answered '051 degree radial to bribe, cleared to jlv and arrival.' ATC then started to harass us on the clearance and the arrival. The harassment continued to the next controller and the ATC clearance was read verbatim until ATC finally decided to allow us to continue to the airport and land. Supplemental information from acn 548026: ATC asked us if we were heading directly to jvl. We replied negative. He told us to head to jvl at which point we complied. If there was a heading or vector from dbq to jvl the arrival would not be as confusing.

THE HARASSMENT CONTINUED TO THE NEXT CTLR AND THE ATC CLRNC WAS READ VERBATIM UNTIL ATC FINALLY DECIDED TO ALLOW US TO CONTINUE TO THE ARPT AND LAND. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 548026: ATC ASKED US IF WE WERE HEADING DIRECTLY TO JVL. WE REPLIED NEGATIVE. HE TOLD US TO HEAD TO JVL AT WHICH POINT WE COMPLIED.
