Narrative:
Field trip to dfw to replace L-1 door snubber assembly. When installing the nut onto the lower hinge assembly, I did not have proper tool to install. There was no sure way to verify torque per maintenance manual. At present, there is no tooling used for this installation.

Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE L-1 ENTRANCE DOOR SNUBBER TO LOWER HINGE ASSEMBLY NOT TORQUED PER THE MAINT MANUAL.
Narrative: FIELD TRIP TO DFW TO REPLACE L-1 DOOR SNUBBER ASSEMBLY. WHEN INSTALLING THE NUT ONTO THE LOWER HINGE ASSEMBLY, I DID NOT HAVE PROPER TOOL TO INSTALL. THERE WAS NO SURE WAY TO VERIFY TORQUE PER MAINT MANUAL. AT PRESENT, THERE IS NO TOOLING USED FOR THIS INSTALLATION.
