Narrative:
Heavy rain shortly before landing. Normal smooth landing and about 1/2 way on rollout, plane was skidding to left side of runway, hydroplaning, with left main wheel off runway and finally the nosewheel. At the end of the rollout, the nose gear pin broke as nosewheel scraped on side of concrete runway. No substantial damage. The airport manager told me that the runway had other similar sits and just recently a french drain had been installed to help the problem of water on runway.
