Narrative:
After landing and exiting runway 13R at psp tower advised hold short runway 13L stay with tower. PIC did not hear tower instruction or read back and crossed runway 13L. Tower sent cessna on visual approach around from an altitude of approximately 200 ft. Contributing factors: assumption PIC heard tower call and my (sic) readback. PIC call for APU start due to short taxi to FBO. Sic starting of APU and not informing PIC. Lack of communication between sic and PIC on hold short instructions and starting of APU prior to clearing all active runways.
