Narrative:
Landed at lax on runway 25L, cleared runway at taxiway M and checked runway 25R for traffic. There was an aircraft in position and we had not been cleared to cross, so I held well short of runway 25R. Upon crossing runway 25R, tower gave me a number to call. I called and they said they were investigating a possible deviation of crossing the hold short line for runway 25R. I told them we were well short and came to a rather expeditious stop, that there was not a lot of room between the runways. He said that they were aware of this, but that an investigation was being made. At no time were we even close to the runway 25R.

Title: B737 FLC STOPPED PAST THE LAX RWY 25R HOLD SHORT LINE AFTER LNDG ON RWY 25L.
Narrative: LANDED AT LAX ON RWY 25L, CLRED RWY AT TXWY M AND CHKED RWY 25R FOR TFC. THERE WAS AN ACFT IN POS AND WE HAD NOT BEEN CLRED TO CROSS, SO I HELD WELL SHORT OF RWY 25R. UPON XING RWY 25R, TWR GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL. I CALLED AND THEY SAID THEY WERE INVESTIGATING A POSSIBLE DEV OF XING THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 25R. I TOLD THEM WE WERE WELL SHORT AND CAME TO A RATHER EXPEDITIOUS STOP, THAT THERE WAS NOT A LOT OF ROOM BTWN THE RWYS. HE SAID THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THIS, BUT THAT AN INVESTIGATION WAS BEING MADE. AT NO TIME WERE WE EVEN CLOSE TO THE RWY 25R.
