Narrative:

I changed #5 slat actuator due to #5 slat xsit overhead not illuminating and xsit light on forward panel staying illuminated. Remove and replaced actuator per maintenance manual. Operations and leaked check good per maintenance manual. I didn't get it inspected. Reason: should have known better.
