Narrative:
Passenger seated in main cabin, xxa, vacated seat to use aft aircraft r-hand side lavatory to smoke cigarettes. The scent of the fumes and visibility of light smoke triggered 2 flight attendants who were in galley next to lavatory, to determine source. Passenger was issued regulatory warning and vehemently denied situation and threatened to sue, despite being caught in the act.

Title: A B757-200 CABIN ATTENDANT RPTS DETECTING LIGHT SMOKE AND FUMES FROM THE R AFT LAVATORY AND DISCOVERED A PAX SMOKING.
Narrative: PAX SEATED IN MAIN CABIN, XXA, VACATED SEAT TO USE AFT ACFT R-HAND SIDE LAVATORY TO SMOKE CIGARETTES. THE SCENT OF THE FUMES AND VISIBILITY OF LIGHT SMOKE TRIGGERED 2 FLT ATTENDANTS WHO WERE IN GALLEY NEXT TO LAVATORY, TO DETERMINE SOURCE. PAX WAS ISSUED REGULATORY WARNING AND VEHEMENTLY DENIED SIT AND THREATENED TO SUE, DESPITE BEING CAUGHT IN THE ACT.
