Narrative:
At cruise, right engine hydraulic pump failed. Shortly after that, system B quantity and pressure dropped to zero. Completed abnormal procedures. Contacted dispatch and maintenance tech on radio. Declared emergency with ATC and requested emergency equipment. Landed at mco and taxied to gate without further incident. Flight attendants and passenger were briefed and stayed calm throughout event.

Title: AN OVERWATER B737 FLT LOSES ITS SYSTEM B HYDRAULICS WHEN 100 NM SE OF MSY, 450 NM FROM DEST ARPT AND CONTINUING TO LAND AT MCO, FL.
Narrative: AT CRUISE, R ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED. SHORTLY AFTER THAT, SYSTEM B QUANTITY AND PRESSURE DROPPED TO ZERO. COMPLETED ABNORMAL PROCS. CONTACTED DISPATCH AND MAINT TECH ON RADIO.
