Narrative:

Flight called halfway between and said they had #1 engine lop light on and shutdown #1 engine when the aircraft arrived uneventfully, and I opened up the cowl, the seal on the flange gearbox return oil line was leaking. It was leaking because the bolts of flange were gone -- missing. I had the bolts and a new seal sent, and after installation, leak checked good. I removed and checked chip detectors and filter, and all were clean. I performed a power assurance run, and all was normal per M/M. Back at the gate, I checked the chip detectors and seal one last time, all checked ok. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated when the cowling was open it was found the angle gearbox housing flange was missing the attach bolts. The reporter said the seal and bolts were replaced, leaked checked, and checked ok on run.
