Narrative:

The aircraft was dispatched from lax-hnl with 1 FMC inoperative. The MEL (34-63-1) had an item that calls for reference to the flight manual, but it does not mention the limitation that the aircraft may not be operated in class ii airspace. We received this aircraft and departed to pago-pago. Then the captain in cruise checked our paperwork (company) 'md-11 general items' and reviewed again 'single FMC dispatch.' he called the company and informed them of what happened and returned to hnl.
