Narrative:
After takeoff, passenger and crew members saw smoke in the rear part of cabin and there was some burning rubbery smell. Captain called us and said 'keep in touch' and he decided to return to dfw. Aircraft was checked by ground personnel and they took the aircraft OTS.

Title: A FLT ATTENDANT RPTS AN IMMEDIATE RETURN TO DEP STATION AS A RESULT OF SMOKE IN THE CABIN AFTER TKOF.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF, PAX AND CREW MEMBERS SAW SMOKE IN THE REAR PART OF CABIN AND THERE WAS SOME BURNING RUBBERY SMELL. CAPT CALLED US AND SAID 'KEEP IN TOUCH' AND HE DECIDED TO RETURN TO DFW. ACFT WAS CHKED BY GND PERSONNEL AND THEY TOOK THE ACFT OTS.
