Narrative:
Arrived at target field, circled, saw wires running across field 400 ft in from end. Descended into field for first pass next to woods, looking at utility pole at edge of woods. Struck electrical wire. There were 2 utility poles along edge of woods. I was looking at the wrong pole. The pole closer to me that I did not see was the pole that had the wires that ran across the field.

Title: SMA AERIAL APPLICATION PLT HIT AN ELECTRICAL WIRE WHILE CROP SPRAYING.
Narrative: ARRIVED AT TARGET FIELD, CIRCLED, SAW WIRES RUNNING ACROSS FIELD 400 FT IN FROM END. DSNDED INTO FIELD FOR FIRST PASS NEXT TO WOODS, LOOKING AT UTILITY POLE AT EDGE OF WOODS. STRUCK ELECTRICAL WIRE. THERE WERE 2 UTILITY POLES ALONG EDGE OF WOODS. I WAS LOOKING AT THE WRONG POLE. THE POLE CLOSER TO ME THAT I DID NOT SEE WAS THE POLE THAT HAD THE WIRES THAT RAN ACROSS THE FIELD.
