Narrative:

While following a river at 1500 ft, I flew into the dc ADIZ approximately two miles before realizing my mistake. I had no radio contact or clearance to enter at the time. I exited and landed at 2w2. I was subsequently contacted by the us customs service who asked me about the incident. I provided them my aircraft registration and log book. Additionally, I explained that the incursion was accidental, and while trying to locate some kids lost on a river. I did not have my pilot's license or my medical certificate with me during the ground discussion, although both were available in my car.
