Narrative:
Vectored for approach to runway 12 ZZZ. Given descent and began to configure for landing. Selected flaps 1 degree and EICAS message of leading edge slat disagree, with an associated lockout of slat and flap system. Took delaying vector from ZZZ approach control and ran appropriate emergency checklists in QRH. Prior to final approach declared emergency and requested vehicle to offer a visual inspection of landing gear and break system. As landing at higher than normal speed. After visual inspection of brakes by emergency personal, emergency terminated, and taxied to gate for normal parking and discharge of day. QRH checklists used. Aircraft was attended to by maintenance and aircraft ferried ZZZ1 for further work.

Title: A B757-200 ON FINAL APCH AT 5000 FT DECLARED AN EMER DUE TO LOCKUP OF LEADING EDGE SLATS AND FLAPS. CAUSE UNKNOWN.
Narrative: VECTORED FOR APCH TO RWY 12 ZZZ. GIVEN DSCNT AND BEGAN TO CONFIGURE FOR LNDG. SELECTED FLAPS 1 DEG AND EICAS MESSAGE OF LEADING EDGE SLAT DISAGREE, WITH AN ASSOCIATED LOCKOUT OF SLAT AND FLAP SYS. TOOK DELAYING VECTOR FROM ZZZ APCH CTL AND RAN APPROPRIATE EMER CHKLISTS IN QRH. PRIOR TO FINAL APCH DECLARED EMER AND REQUESTED VEHICLE TO OFFER A VISUAL INSPECTION OF LNDG GEAR AND BREAK SYS. AS LNDG AT HIGHER THAN NORMAL SPD. AFTER VISUAL INSPECTION OF BRAKES BY EMER PERSONAL, EMER TERMINATED, AND TAXIED TO GATE FOR NORMAL PARKING AND DISCHARGE OF DAY. QRH CHKLISTS USED. ACFT WAS ATTENDED TO BY MAINT AND ACFT FERRIED ZZZ1 FOR FURTHER WORK.
