Narrative:
ACARS records a new out time each time the parking brake is set and released after the door is closed. It was an issue with these aircraft when we first got them also.

Title: MD-80 CAPT RECOUNTS THE DIFFERENCES IN ACFT ACQUIRED FROM A DIFFERENT ACR.
Narrative: ACARS RECORDS A NEW OUT TIME EACH TIME THE PARKING BRAKE IS SET AND RELEASED AFTER THE DOOR IS CLOSED. IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THESE ACFT WHEN WE FIRST GOT THEM ALSO.
