Narrative:

I was training for my commercial certificate with a CFI. It was my first time in this make and model aircraft. We were practicing a simulated engine failure in the pattern. The landing gear was never extended, and a gear up landing ensued. The aircraft did not suffer substantial damage as defined by the NTSB.
