Narrative:
Fuel stopped due to weight temperature problem. Aircraft had performance management computer inoperative, and air carrier did not bother to move it to another shorter flight. I was doing 2 fuel stops at the same time and failed to notice I had filed the flight on an overwater flight. I caught my mistake shortly after it took off. I called captain on the radio and told him what I had done. He was very understanding, and would coordination with ATC to fly an inland route. This could be prevented with a pop-up deal like the drift down pop-up.
