Narrative:
I was following a tripacer in the pattern. I extended downwind to give him more room. He was on short final when I turned final. He landed and was taxiing to exit and I was on final. He delayed exiting runway and I landed approximately 3500 ft short of him. As I rolled out, he exited the runway and I taxied to taxiway and exited. He was still on runway when I touched down but I never came close to him. My judgement on final was he had plenty of time to exit runway before I touched down. I didn't expect him to delay taxiing so much. I should have gone around.

Title: PLT OF PA28 LANDS AT GFL WHILE RWY STILL OCCUPIED.
Narrative: I WAS FOLLOWING A TRIPACER IN THE PATTERN. I EXTENDED DOWNWIND TO GIVE HIM MORE ROOM. HE WAS ON SHORT FINAL WHEN I TURNED FINAL. HE LANDED AND WAS TAXIING TO EXIT AND I WAS ON FINAL. HE DELAYED EXITING RWY AND I LANDED APPROX 3500 FT SHORT OF HIM. AS I ROLLED OUT, HE EXITED THE RWY AND I TAXIED TO TXWY AND EXITED. HE WAS STILL ON RWY WHEN I TOUCHED DOWN BUT I NEVER CAME CLOSE TO HIM. MY JUDGEMENT ON FINAL WAS HE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO EXIT RWY BEFORE I TOUCHED DOWN. I DIDN'T EXPECT HIM TO DELAY TAXIING SO MUCH. I SHOULD HAVE GONE AROUND.
