Narrative:
Failed to lower landing gear. Suggest always checking gear warning horn on downwind by retarding throttle and connecting gear check with base turn call. With full flaps and idle power, gear warning did not occur.

Narrative: FAILED TO LOWER LNDG GEAR. SUGGEST ALWAYS CHKING GEAR WARNING HORN ON DOWNWIND BY RETARDING THROTTLE AND CONNECTING GEAR CHK WITH BASE TURN CALL. WITH FULL FLAPS AND IDLE PWR, GEAR WARNING DID NOT OCCUR.
