Narrative:

Approximately 75 mins after takeoff, I received an ACARS message from dispatch informing me that dfw ramp had loaded a compressed oxygen bottle in the forward cargo compartment. The initial closeout had not indicated its presence and we did not receive proper paperwork prior to departure. Dispatch had transcribed an ACARS version of the form's data concerning the aforementioned oxygen bottle. Fortunately, there were no conflicts with its presence on the aircraft, other than the paperwork. Later, I received another amended closeout, documenting the presence of the hazmat article.
