Narrative:
While doing a compass swing with use of a tug the nosewheel slid past the tug causing an over-steering situation in which it went past the tow limit causing damage to the interior of the nose wheel well.

Title: AN MD80 INCURRED NOSE WHEEL WELL SKIN DAMAGE WHEN BEING POSITIONED FOR A COMPASS SWING. NOSE WHEELS SLID ON SAND PAST THE TOW LIMIT DAMAGING NOSE WHEEL WELL COMPONENTS.
Narrative: WHILE DOING A COMPASS SWING WITH USE OF A TUG THE NOSEWHEEL SLID PAST THE TUG CAUSING AN OVER-STEERING SIT IN WHICH IT WENT PAST THE TOW LIMIT CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR OF THE NOSE WHEEL WELL.
