Narrative:
We were aircraft X, a CL600. Other aircraft, aircraft Y, a B747 heavy. We were told to taxi onto runway 9L and hold. Another airline, aircraft Z, was told to taxi onto runway 4L and hold. The tower then told the heavy to cross runway 9L and 4L on taxiway right, then contact ground 121.9. The heavy did not move nor did he respond. Tower then asked if heavy was on the frequency. Aircraft Y did not respond. Tower then cleared us for takeoff runway 9L. I asked for him to issue a hold short of runway 9L clearance to the heavy, since he had not cancelled his taxi clearance. Tower did not, he cancelled our takeoff clearance and cleared the aircraft Y flight for takeoff runway 4L. After that, tower cleared the heavy to cross runway 9L/4R. Then tower cleared us for takeoff for runway 9L.

Title: CL600 DEP FROM ORD ELECTS NOT TO DEPART BECAUSE OF POTENTIAL CONFLICT WITH RWY XING TFC.
Narrative: WE WERE ACFT X, A CL600. OTHER ACFT, ACFT Y, A B747 HVY. WE WERE TOLD TO TAXI ONTO RWY 9L AND HOLD. ANOTHER AIRLINE, ACFT Z, WAS TOLD TO TAXI ONTO RWY 4L AND HOLD. THE TWR THEN TOLD THE HVY TO CROSS RWY 9L AND 4L ON TXWY R, THEN CONTACT GND 121.9. THE HVY DID NOT MOVE NOR DID HE RESPOND. TWR THEN ASKED IF HVY WAS ON THE FREQ. ACFT Y DID NOT RESPOND. TWR THEN CLRED US FOR TKOF RWY 9L. I ASKED FOR HIM TO ISSUE A HOLD SHORT OF RWY 9L CLRNC TO THE HVY, SINCE HE HAD NOT CANCELLED HIS TAXI CLRNC. TWR DID NOT, HE CANCELLED OUR TKOF CLRNC AND CLRED THE ACFT Y FLT FOR TKOF RWY 4L. AFTER THAT, TWR CLRED THE HVY TO CROSS RWY 9L/4R. THEN TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF FOR RWY 9L.
