Aborted takeoff due to forward entry door warning light. Abort initiated at 80 KTS, maximum speed reached was 89 KTS. No rejected takeoff activation. Taxied clear of runway and advised passenger and flight attendants of the situation. #1 flight attendant reset the forward entry door handle extinguishing the indicator light. Checked brake cooling chart and found no action required. Advised local maintenance of the situation. After checking to make sure we had minimum takeoff fuel, we departed to mia.
