Narrative:

After takeoff, flight attendants reported electrical type odor concentrated in 2L/2R door area. Same problem had been written up on previous flight, investigated and cleared by maintenance. We elected to continue the departure and cabin crew reported that the smell dissipated within 5 seconds. We consulted with dispatch and maintenance coordinator and elected to continue sbound, but divert to ZZZ1 as opposed to landing at ZZZ2. QRH was consulted and smoke/fumes removal procedure was accomplished as a precaution. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the flight crew did not experience the odor but it was noted only by the cabin attendants. The reporter said the maintenance action data taken at the diversion station was not given to the flight crew.
