Narrative:

I issued the wrong altitude and did not catch it on readback. The conflict alert did not activate until the last min. This is better than nothing, but too late. The aircraft were on converging headings all along and were climbing and descending towards each other. I gave an alternate instruction but too much time had passed. Supplemental information from acn 619486: I was working satellite 'D,' responsible for departures off orl. The learjet departed runway 25 into my airspace where I am able to climb to 4000 ft. I asked the learjet to expedite to 4000 ft because I had traffic at 3000 ft, I needed to get him above so I could turn him across the top of mco in accordance with local procedures. As he was climbing, a controller at another sector warned me, at the same time as the conflict alert went off, of an aircraft not under my control descending through my altitude. I immediately called the traffic. The controller, who was working the other aircraft, said he had visual separation and I relayed that to my aircraft. I was told by him that he responded to the RA his equipment gave him.

Title: MCO CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR WITH CLBING LJ31 AND DSNDING C550 TFC AT 3800 FT PENETRATING THE ADJACENT CTLR'S AIRSPACE WITHOUT A POINTOUT.

Narrative: I ISSUED THE WRONG ALT AND DID NOT CATCH IT ON READBACK. THE CONFLICT ALERT DID NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL THE LAST MIN. THIS IS BETTER THAN NOTHING, BUT TOO LATE. THE ACFT WERE ON CONVERGING HDGS ALL ALONG AND WERE CLBING AND DSNDING TOWARDS EACH OTHER. I GAVE AN ALTERNATE INSTRUCTION BUT TOO MUCH TIME HAD PASSED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 619486: I WAS WORKING SATELLITE 'D,' RESPONSIBLE FOR DEPS OFF ORL. THE LEARJET DEPARTED RWY 25 INTO MY AIRSPACE WHERE I AM ABLE TO CLB TO 4000 FT. I ASKED THE LEARJET TO EXPEDITE TO 4000 FT BECAUSE I HAD TFC AT 3000 FT, I NEEDED TO GET HIM ABOVE SO I COULD TURN HIM ACROSS THE TOP OF MCO IN ACCORDANCE WITH LCL PROCS. AS HE WAS CLBING, A CTLR AT ANOTHER SECTOR WARNED ME, AT THE SAME TIME AS THE CONFLICT ALERT WENT OFF, OF AN ACFT NOT UNDER MY CTL DSNDING THROUGH MY ALT. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE TFC. THE CTLR, WHO WAS WORKING THE OTHER ACFT, SAID HE HAD VISUAL SEPARATION AND I RELAYED THAT TO MY ACFT. I WAS TOLD BY HIM THAT HE RESPONDED TO THE RA HIS EQUIP GAVE HIM.
