Narrative:
I was PNF on air carrier X landing at mia on runway 8L. On rollout, we were told to 'clear when able, contact ground.' we cleared at intersection L6 and contacted ground short of runway 8R, telling them we were clear of runway 8L. Ground told us to taxi via txwys M and Y to spot X. We noticed an air carrier DC9 in position on runway 8R, informed ground we were crossing runway 8R, received a roger from ground, and proceeded onto taxiway M. Ground asked us to contact the tower via a land line. Evidently, air carrier Y had been cleared for takeoff on runway 8R, and he aborted.

Title: A B757 FLT CREW IS CLRED TO CROSS RWY 8R AT MIA AT THE SAME TIME A DC9 IS CLRED FOR TKOF RWY 8R RESULTING IN AN ABORTED TKOF.
Narrative: I WAS PNF ON ACR X LNDG AT MIA ON RWY 8L. ON ROLLOUT, WE WERE TOLD TO 'CLR WHEN ABLE, CONTACT GND.' WE CLRED AT INTXN L6 AND CONTACTED GND SHORT OF RWY 8R, TELLING THEM WE WERE CLR OF RWY 8L. GND TOLD US TO TAXI VIA TXWYS M AND Y TO SPOT X. WE NOTICED AN ACR DC9 IN POS ON RWY 8R, INFORMED GND WE WERE XING RWY 8R, RECEIVED A ROGER FROM GND, AND PROCEEDED ONTO TXWY M. GND ASKED US TO CONTACT THE TWR VIA A LAND LINE. EVIDENTLY, ACR Y HAD BEEN CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 8R, AND HE ABORTED.
