Narrative:
Tower instructed us to taxi into position and hold. As we were crossing the hold line for runway 1, tower changed their mind and instructed us to hold short. Since we were already partially across the hold line at the time we responded with 'unable' and immediately stopped the aircraft with it about halfway across the hold line. There was an airbus on final, and the tower instructed him to disregard the fact that we were not clear of the runway and to land anyway. Aircraft landed on runway 1. We were then cleared into position and cleared for takeoff.

Title: B737. THE ATCT LCL CTLR CLRED AN ACFT TO LAND AND TO DISREGARD THE FACT THAT AN ACFT WAS BEYOND THE HOLD SHORT LINE.
Narrative: TWR INSTRUCTED US TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD. AS WE WERE XING THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 1, TWR CHANGED THEIR MIND AND INSTRUCTED US TO HOLD SHORT. SINCE WE WERE ALREADY PARTIALLY ACROSS THE HOLD LINE AT THE TIME WE RESPONDED WITH 'UNABLE' AND IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE ACFT WITH IT ABOUT HALFWAY ACROSS THE HOLD LINE. THERE WAS AN AIRBUS ON FINAL, AND THE TWR INSTRUCTED HIM TO DISREGARD THE FACT THAT WE WERE NOT CLR OF THE RWY AND TO LAND ANYWAY. ACFT LANDED ON RWY 1. WE WERE THEN CLRED INTO POS AND CLRED FOR TKOF.
