Narrative:
I received internet based WX brief including NOTAMS/fdc NOTAMS 15 mins before departing. No presidential tfr was listed for jac. Upon arrival, ATIS listed tfr 210 at 8 mi to 6000 ft. The noise abatement arrival has you stay at 8000 ft until 4 mi final on runway 1. We turned a 3.5 mi final and landed without problems. I assured we were ok because we were at 8000 ft until final and would be above the tfr and north of it as well. Tower said nothing so all was well. The next morning it occurred to me the tfr was for 6000 ft AGL, not MSL and we were in close proximity when we turned final. I do not believe we penetrated but were too close for comfort. This was my first time to jac and I studied the noise arrival multiple times before and during flight. Since I did not have the tfr information before departure I only had 15 mins before arrival to analyze this information. I spent more time worried about noise abatement and when the tfr was stated to 6000 ft I thought we would be ok at 8000 ft.
