Narrative:

While working final monitor west, I brought to the attention of the on-duty supervisor, the fact that aircraft were dropping off radar on short final. I asked him how we could provide separation to the trailing aircraft and comply with the 7110.65. I did not get an answer. Also, I and the other final monitor (AME) also complained that every aircraft joining the runway 36R localizer at approximately 15 NM was showing well left off course and each aircraft was touching the ntz. They would rejoin the localizer centerline at approximately 2 NM inside the step-down fix. All aircraft except one reported on the centerline of the localizer. We may have a map alignment problem. No action was taken by the on-duty supervisor.

Title: MEM FINAL MONITOR CTLR ADVISED SUPVR THAT ACFT TARGETS WERE DROPPING OFF ON SHORT FINAL AND, IN ADDITION, THAT THERE MAY BE A MAP ALIGNMENT PROB.

Narrative: WHILE WORKING FINAL MONITOR W, I BROUGHT TO THE ATTN OF THE ON-DUTY SUPVR, THE FACT THAT ACFT WERE DROPPING OFF RADAR ON SHORT FINAL. I ASKED HIM HOW WE COULD PROVIDE SEPARATION TO THE TRAILING ACFT AND COMPLY WITH THE 7110.65. I DID NOT GET AN ANSWER. ALSO, I AND THE OTHER FINAL MONITOR (AME) ALSO COMPLAINED THAT EVERY ACFT JOINING THE RWY 36R LOC AT APPROX 15 NM WAS SHOWING WELL L OFF COURSE AND EACH ACFT WAS TOUCHING THE NTZ. THEY WOULD REJOIN THE LOC CTRLINE AT APPROX 2 NM INSIDE THE STEP-DOWN FIX. ALL ACFT EXCEPT ONE RPTED ON THE CTRLINE OF THE LOC. WE MAY HAVE A MAP ALIGNMENT PROB. NO ACTION WAS TAKEN BY THE ON-DUTY SUPVR.
