Narrative:
Climbing out from las vegas on departure, first officer somehow did not get all the fixes in the FMC, and I didn't catch it. I fly it so much that complacency was probably involved, and the first officer in low time and new. After center asked where we were proceeding, the error was noted, and center said 'proceed to bikkr intersection,' but did not spell it. We started to proceed to 'biker' intersection, which was west of bikkr, and center then spelled out the correct fix. I think that one of the adjacent fixes be changed, since they are so close. I usually go down the departure page by page, fix by fix, but didn't this time due to boss being late and in a rush. It will bite you every time. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the fix 'biker' was incorrectly entered into the FMS. He never took the time to see where this fix was and re-entered the correct fix 'bikkr' once ATC informed him of being off course. Reporter admits that the intersection could have been half way around the world, but it was in a westerly direction. He stated that they were on the 'shead 2 departure.'

Title: AN H25B FLT CREW INCORRECTLY ENTERS THE SHEAD 2 RNAV DEP OUT OF LAS AND PROCEED TO BIKER INTXN INSTEAD OF BOKKR. ZLA ARTCC INFORMS THEM OF THEIR ERROR.
Narrative: CLBING OUT FROM LAS VEGAS ON DEP, FO SOMEHOW DID NOT GET ALL THE FIXES IN THE FMC, AND I DIDN'T CATCH IT. I FLY IT SO MUCH THAT COMPLACENCY WAS PROBABLY INVOLVED, AND THE FO IN LOW TIME AND NEW. AFTER CTR ASKED WHERE WE WERE PROCEEDING, THE ERROR WAS NOTED, AND CTR SAID 'PROCEED TO BIKKR INTXN,' BUT DID NOT SPELL IT. WE STARTED TO PROCEED TO 'BIKER' INTXN, WHICH WAS W OF BIKKR, AND CTR THEN SPELLED OUT THE CORRECT FIX. I THINK THAT ONE OF THE ADJACENT FIXES BE CHANGED, SINCE THEY ARE SO CLOSE. I USUALLY GO DOWN THE DEP PAGE BY PAGE, FIX BY FIX, BUT DIDN'T THIS TIME DUE TO BOSS BEING LATE AND IN A RUSH. IT WILL BITE YOU EVERY TIME. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE FIX 'BIKER' WAS INCORRECTLY ENTERED INTO THE FMS. HE NEVER TOOK THE TIME TO SEE WHERE THIS FIX WAS AND RE-ENTERED THE CORRECT FIX 'BIKKR' ONCE ATC INFORMED HIM OF BEING OFF COURSE.
